Here's a thought to what to you really ought to look for, besides just the degree. . .

• Search for schools which offer the specific program you desire.
• Find schools that will give you guidance in research and job opportunities.
• Look for schools that will attract good students you can work with and learn from--sometimes a prestigious school is best for this.
• Find schools or programs that will offer you financial aid to make the experience more of an investment than a money-eater.
• Location, location, location. Find a school in a community in which you will enjoy being a part (good public schools, low congestion, and overall friendliness).
