Marshall
Description: The Marshall Scholarships were instituted by the British Parliament on July 31, 1953 as a practical and enduring gesture of thanks on behalf of the British people for assistance received from the U.S. in the aftermath of W.W.II. The scholarships are funded by the Diplomatic Wing of the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office and allow U.S. students to study in the U.K.
